How to Create a Custom Paper Size in Microsoft Word 2007 is straightforward. Open the file you would like to print in Microsoft Word. Pick the Print button on the toolbar, or click on the Print button on the ribbon which appears over the Print button on the menu bar. From the file menu which appears, select Publish as and enter the path along with the custom paper sizes you wanted to change into the text box and name your selection prior to saving it.

If you want to alter the width and height of your custom layout, first save the changes and click on the print button on the toolbar to finalize your changes. Then, go to the properties of the page to which you want to change the page size in the AutoShapes dialog box. On the Scale tab, click on the scale button to place the new size and from the Units option, select a unit of measurement such as inches.

Now return to your customized design. When you open the dialogue box, click on the scale button to set the size and from the units choice, pick the inches prior to typing it into the text box. The customized preview window will display the altered page dimensions and you can see how your customized page will look. If you want how it looks, click on the okay button to save your changes.
